Located 40 km northwest of the Milan city centre, the Milano Malpensa Airport is the largest airport in Milan. In 2010, the passenger traffic at the airport was 18,947,808 passengers while it increased to 19,291,427 in 2011. Milan is hub for industrial, educational, commercial and financial activities.
